Motorist turns left in front of cyclist

Motorist waves to her friend on the sidewalk and then makes abrupt left turn in front of cyclist without looking or signaling. She stayed, apologized, and rendered aid. Complex torn left meniscus. Can no longer run, ski, play soccer or squash, or bend knee past 90 degrees 18mo post-op. Fortunately I can still ride in the saddle.
