Abused for being in the primary position

Cut to 2 minutes. I was indicating to turn left, positioned in the middle of the left-turn lane. After the encounter on the video, the driver stopped and got out of his car and berated me, saying I should have been riding up against the edge of the road. I could not include that bit in the video because I swore several times. Worryingly, the driver then followed me 5km, almost to my workplace, before I could go through an alley-way to avoid him.
