SUV driver crosses double lines in attempt to hit cyclists

On a very clear sunny day on David Low Way in Coolum cyclist was proceeding south through the intersection on a green light. The driver of a Mitsubishi Triton Ute darts across double lines and oncoming traffic including cyclists to grab an empty car space on the other side of the road. The driver could have proceeded safely through the intersection and peformed a uturn at the roundabout to come back an get a car park. There were plenty of parks. This idiot wanted to save 30 seconds of his life and put others at risk!

Video showing the infringement of cross double lines and fail to give way as well as the numberplate 667 AQ4 was uploaded to Queensland Police who have issued an infringement to the driver.
